@Fifteen Hoops - NBA & Valheim I agree they wouldn't do it before this year's playoffs, for sure. They will need a good, discernible reason to do so that the players (especially KD) can understand. That reason will become evident I think both via them losing, and the fact that Kyrie - after Harden starts taking more shots than him in the post-season as well as being the point guard facilitating) - will become the grade A pouter once again.

@Evan Harriman I could see off season moves... but if the experiment works as it is, they will definetly run it back. I don't see them trading away Kyrie this season, off season... if they lose sure, I can see that happening

@Fifteen Hoops - NBA & Valheim Joe Harris is already the perfect off-ball complement to Harden and KD, but they can't play him together with all those guys AND Kyrie, so Joe goes wasted at end of games and starting. Then you have Dinwiddie coming back next year, and he's a FAR better defender than Kyrie. Which brings us to the fundamental point, the Nets look like possibly the worst defensive team of all time right now, and the worst defender of that entire bunch, is Kyrie.

@Imquotable yeah that’s definitely not always the case. You can also look at it like kyrie is on a team with other scorers which means he doesn’t get as much defensive attention. What are you gonna do not worry about harden or KD? Even joe Harris for that matter. On a bad team the opposition need only worry about one guy.
